Membership
When you are part of a Clergy Association . . . . . .
1. You contribute to raising the level of clergy morale and give hope and encouragement to your brother and sister clergy.
2. You learn about the important issues and developments which affect your ministry and your future.
3. You establish an effective vehicle for making important clergy needs known to your Bishop and other diocesan leaders.
4. You develop confidence and satisfaction in taking a pro-active, not a reactive, stance toward improving the functioning of the Body of Christ in your own diocese and in the larger Episcopal Church.
5. You support continuing education programs for clergy in your diocese.
6. You help new clergy become integrated into your Diocese.
7. You help clergy in your diocese to be connected with other clergy across the church through the National Network of Episcopal Clergy Associations.
8. You support communication amongst clergy through LEAVEN the National Network's newsletter.
9. You impact decisions being made at the national level by the Church Pension Group, the Church Deployment Office, other agencies of the national church, and every three years by the General Convention.
10. You assert solidarity with other clergy in Christ's Church.
