Clergy Support

NNECA supports clergy by:

Publishing LEAVEN six times a year, bringing news, dialogue, reflection and tools to equip and inform clergy and those who work with us.

Support of Diocesan Clergy Associations through consultation, visits, training and advocacy.

Regular meetings with the Presiding Bishop, the President and top leaders of the Church Pension Group, the Clergy Deployment Office, and the Ministry Group at 815.

An active presence at General Convention: on the floor, in committees, the exhibit hall, and behind the scenes.

An Annual Conference that sets the agenda for our work and offers clergy education and renewal through outstanding, speakers, worship and fellowship.

Representation, formally or informally, on the Commission on Ministry Development, the Colloquium of Episcopal Vocational and Professional Organizations, the Church Pension Board and its advisory committees and task forces, the Clergy Deployment Board, and special interest clergy associations; we played a key role in starting many of these.

Supporting a Board and field staff to do the above work.
